Private Schools in NWA

To a new mom, the question of school may feel like miles away, but alas, time marches on and soon you’ll be asking yourself…what about school for my little one? Here in Northwest Arkansas we are #blessed to have amazing public schools. But what if that’s not the best choice for your family?

We’re taking a look at some of the private school options in our area that we love. 

St. Vincent’s de Paul
With approximately 360 students, St. Vincent’s boasts a 14:1 student teacher ratio which provides a nurturing and safe environment for kids. SVdP has a long history for high academic standards and it shows through student’s personal achievements.

Why we love it:
This catholic school focuses on educating the whole person, with an emphasis on academics, faith and service from early childhood to junior high.

Life Way Christian School 
At Life Way, they are strong and steady with 550 students and more than 60 faculty and staff members. Life Way Christian School stands as a monument to the faithfulness of God and they provide biblically based education.

Why we love it:
From preschool to high school, their motto is biblical: “Train up a child the way he should go, even when he is old they will not depart from it.”~Proverbs 22:6

Thaden School 
At Thaden, their mission is to provide a balanced and challenging education that ignites a passion for discovery and learning. Prepping students for success in college while inspiring them to lead lives of integrity and purpose is also top priority as well as responsible global citizenship.

Why we love it: Their indexed tuition program brings the cost of private education within reach for a broad range of families in Northwest Arkansas.

Shiloh Cristian School
The primary objective at Shiloh is to bring all knowledge into a living relationship with the Truth of the Word of God. From individual classroom attention, to a championship athletic tradition, Shiloh prepares students to reach their full potential in a distinctly Christian environment. Pre-K-12th grade.

Why we love it: It feels like a community here, plus they are pretty serious about College Prep- offering over 50+ hours of College Credit to their students. 

The New School 

At its core, The New School values and encourages Curiosity, Respect, Citizenship, Innovation, Excellence and Community. They school toddlers aged 12 months through teenagers in 12th grade. 

Why we love it: They inspire a love of learning while promoting children’s social growth, emotional growth, intellectual development and creativity.
